Catcraft Jewellery & Collectibles in your Breed is a small family business run by Sally and Barry Murphy in Basingstoke in the South of England and was born directly out of the success of Dogcraft Jewellery & Collectibles.

Sally is responsible for all the art and design work and crafting of the 'stones', while Barry does the final cleaning and mounting and setting of the jewellery.

We have been making jewellery, mostly kiln-fired enamels, for over 25 years, but about 6 years ago, after taking a trade stand at 'Crufts' we started to develop our new ideas for jewellery for dog lovers using a form of 'cold enamelling' with acrylic resin.

At first all the designs were produced from Sally's original paintings, but with the growth of requests for more and more different breeds, and orders for custom made items of customer's own pets, many of the designs are now reproduced from photographs with the aid of a computer.

Our orders for custom made items have been many and varied. Cats, dogs and horses are so popular that we are now carry many breeds as stock designs, but more unusual items we have made include Orang Utan earrings and a budgerigar bracelet, as well as children and wedding photos. As long as we have a good clear photo to work from, virtually nothing is impossible!
